Xelpower (means Excellent Power) has established its credit and expertise in the field of digital power management, and will now lead the power information industry presenting more advanced technology implemented by PLC(Power Line Communication) system.

Power management system

Digital protective relay for 154 kV transmission lines has made by Xelpower for the first time in Korea and replaced imported ones represents its excellent technology in world wide. Xelpower now declares that it will continually introduce world class products to the global market. There are many inventive products like synchronous-type demand controller that has been doing an important contribution to the reliable supply of electricity boosting energy efficiency and digital motor control center(DMCC) and the line fault locator(LFL) in the field of power management system.

Digital information system

Xelpower now added powerline communication into new business area, which includes PLC based -AMR(Automatic meter reading) and medium voltage PLC in preparation to meet 21C new world of power business.

So Xelpower has reorganized its business areas as follows:

- Digital power management System
- Energy Management System (On-line Trading)
- Power Line Communication System

Power information system by Xelpower will upgrade both power management and information systm.

Sep. 1998	Earned New Korean Technology (KT Mark) by the minister of Korea Institute of Science & Technology for the Digital Protection Relay.
Dec. 1998	Developed the Digital Motor Control Center
Nov. 1999	Supplied KEPCO with Directional Carrier Distance Protection Relay Panels.
